Improving Your Writing

About

Everyone Writes

.

Most writing is acceptable and adequately expresses a thought or conveys a message. Some writing could be improved or enhanced, some writing could use a little help. As a true art, writing improves with practice, just as much as the work of a cellist or a portrait artist improves over time.

For daily emails or for a capricious tweet, arming oneself with the collected works of Charles Dickens is not necessary. For important writing however, when language, content, tone, flow, grammar, spelling and punctuation are paramount to the writer’s purpose, the services of an editor may help to support one’s endeavors.

For almost fifty years, this writer has practiced the art of writing - copywriting, website content, promotional advertising, essays, short stories, business plans, eulogies, speeches, biographies, testimonials, personal correspondence and one self-published biography to date. This site is created to offer practiced writing, editing and proofreading services.

One should write as one speaks, in a cordial and approachable manner. Keep it simple. Make every word count. If you’d like to have a piece of writing reviewed, please contact me at any time. Thank you.
